With several years of experience working with animals, both full time in the pet-care industry and being responsible for pets of our own, we are confident in our methods. We are very serious about maintaining the security of your home, we know how to follow instructions, and we also use our own tried & true expertise to make sure your animals get the most out of their visit. 

You can rest assured that as fellow Ditmas Park residents and pet guardians ourselves, we are in tune with every detail of our common surroundings (i.e. best walking routes, caution for breaking trees, how to avoid unfriendly dogs outside).  Additionally, it is important to us to maintain a neighborly bond with you all, and to uphold the high standards our community expects. 

We know there is no “one size fits all” when it comes to pet care. Each animal & their daily routine is unique. Our visits are tailored to fit your pet and their needs. We provide our services professionally, but with a personal touch. We are not a huge company, we are not a big agency. We choose high quality over quantity, our team will always stay small, personal, and dedicated.

We provide care for your feline friends as close as we possibly can to the way you would. Whether they want to play, cuddle, or would prefer to just keep cozy in their favorite hiding spot, our visits are tailored to fit YOUR cat’s needs, both mentally & physically.

OUR Terms & Conditions

Please read our policies below, these terms allow us to keep things running consistently smooth & safe. We truly appreciate your cooperation.

Keys

We require two sets of keys, 1 main set & 1 backup set. At minimum, the main set MUST have a front door/building key. For time efficiency, we need to be able to enter the premise without having to wait for a doorman or buzzing doorbells. Your main set may also include a mail key if you’ll be away and would like us to retrieve your mail. The backup set may be full or just the apartment if your building key is difficult to copy. You can also choose to use a lockbox.

Timeframes

All scheduled dog walks are completed within a designated time window. Our mid-day visits are split into two 4-hour time frames:

-Early-Mid Afternoon (11am-3pm)
-Mid-Late Afternoon (2pm-5pm)
-“Off peak hours” are Morning (9-11am) and Evening (6-8pm)

This allows flexibility to account for any unpredictable delays (extreme weather conditions, emergencies, extra cleanup, transportation issues, etc.). During the meet & greet we will discuss the best time window for your pets, as well as note a goal time for reference.

Billing

A card on file will be required for every client.

•For dog-walking clients, we auto-charge your card every 2 weeks for any visits completed. (With the exception of the prepaid dog-walking packages that are paid for prior to the start of the week)
•For all pet-sitting clients, full payment will be due prior to service.
•All services are subject to NY State Sales Tax

Equipment

We require that all dogs be walked using the appropriate leash and collar/harness system for their size and temperment. Certain types of walking equipment may not provide sufficient control for those who lunge or pull, or may not be secure enough, leaving room for a wiggly pup to slip out. These issues can lead to injury to the pup and to the walker. We may use a spare leash & slip collar to use as backup for extra caution.

Puppy Visits Package

The first few months are the most formative and influential, a well behaved dog begins with a well trained puppy. Puppies tend to have higher energy levels & also need to relieve themselves more frequently than adult dogs, so it is important for them to establish a consistent routine, good manners, and a positive association with the fact that you will be at work during the day.

For puppies under 5 months
$ 150 per week
  • TWO 20-25 minute daily visits (total 10 visits per week)
  • A much needed bathroom-break
  • Fresh water in bowl
  • Feeding (by request)
  • Love, attention & belly rubs
  • Basic obedience/command training/reinforcement
  • Paw wiping (by request)
  • Light alternating
